+ Perfect location at the end of the Scheveningen promenade and the beginnig of miles of beautiful beaches. A step above most beach hotels, this well run member of the Carlton group gave us a warm welcome on our honeymoon trip. Pay extra for a balcony room overlooking the beach--it's worth it!
- Scheveningen is a family resort; young couples or singles looking for nightlife probably should head elsewhere.

+ Very hospitable personell, nice, clean, location execellent. An absolute winner if you can afford it.
- A bit expensive, but that is maybe the reason we were happy with the stay there. Breakfast at a charge of EUR 21 per person is pretty rough, however - maybe that is how it's supposed to be.

+ Pleasant barkeeper and a good chef! It's nice dining with a view of the sea at the end of the Hotel row.

+ Good location on beach, but I will not return. I have had much better beach accomodations in Bermuda, Florida, Caymans and elsewhere.
- Extremely overpriced. Small, but ample room. All breakfasts in room ie coffee and juice and a hard roll,were same price as full buffet breakfast, which at 26 euros per person ( or was that $$) Most of our other accomodations in NL included a great breakfast.

The Carlton Beach Hotel is located at the end of the famous boulevard in Scheveningen. It is a 4-star hotel with luxurious rooms, the majority of which offer a breathtaking view of the sea. The famous seaside resort city of Scheveningen has so much to offer: sea, beach, dunes, shopping, culture, and last but not least a bustling nightlife with many entertainment spots.
In front of the hotel lies the Carlton Beachclub, a very special place on the north side of the Scheveningen beach. With a spacious terrace, relaxing sun beds and delicious barbecues in the evening, it's the place to be for a day at the sea. The views are just fascinating.
Additional information
- The hotel has a 24-hour reception.
- An additional bed costs €25 and can be booked in the booking form of a Superior Plus Room.
- Pets are allowed for €27,50 per night.
- Luggage can be stored at the hotel.
- On request, a room with seaview can be booked for a surcharge of €30.
From Monday November 8 2010 the hotel will start renovating 17 rooms on the second floor. These rooms will get new bathrooms. Obviously, the hotel will do its utmost to minimise any nuisance. Renovation should be ready around December 17 2010.
